  14. When I first started to learn Icon the options for executables on
  15. both Linux and NT were:
  16. (1)run with interpreter
  17. (2)compile to C  then compile the C code.
  18. Has anything much changed? 
  19. eg is it possible (or will it ever be) to compile direct?
